Signeasy Mobile: Intelligent Contract Management (ICM) – Phase 1

ICM enables teams to manage contracts within structured workspaces, improving organization, collaboration, and visibility across shared document workflows.

What’s Supported in Phase 1

Workspace Support

Documents are now workspace-aware across the app:

  • View the workspace associated with each document directly from the listing screen

  • Filter documents by workspace from the home screen for easier navigation and organization

Request Signature with Workspace Selection

When creating a signature request:

  • Users can select a workspace

  • The document is automatically associated with the selected workspace, ensuring proper organization within team workflows

Non-ICM Users

There is no impact on non-ICM users:

  • All existing features and workflows continue to function as before

  • No changes are required for users not using ICM

Known Caveats

In-Person Signing

  • The in-person signing flow currently uses the non-ICM workflow

  • This is due to pending web support at the time of mobile implementation

  • A fully ICM-compatible in-person signing experience will be introduced in a future phase

Template Preview for Non-Owners (iOS only)

  • Template downloads currently rely on the v1 DocOps API (migration to v3 is planned)

  • Users who have access to templates via shared workspaces—but are not the owner—will not be able to preview those templates

Draft Rename

  • Renaming draft documents currently uses the v1 API

  • The v3 API for this operation is not yet stable

  • Migration to v3 will happen once stability issues are resolved

What’s Next

Future phases of ICM will continue to expand support across mobile, including:

  • Full ICM support for in-person signing

  • API migrations to improve performance and consistency

  • Enhanced template handling and permissions
