Getting Started with the Signeasy iOS app

How does Signeasy work on the iOS app?


Our Signeasy iOS app is available to everyone on the App Store, and the subscription will be carried automatically across all your devices. 


If you are new to Signeasy, signing up for a Trial plan is easy.  Start by tapping "Sign Up” from the login screen:



You can continue to enter your email and password, create your profile and verify your account in the next simple steps:









Signeasy app will work on iOS 10 or later, previous versions are not supported.



If you have a Signeasy account and want to use your account on a mobile browser, you will be taken to the login screen, where you can log in using Google, Apple, or Microsoft or by entering your account and password directly.

        



Please note: you will be redirected to a document preview screen if you do not have a registered Signesay account and are a guest signer.

For document details, you can view information about the sender and all of the signers involved. Also, the number of pages and the total number of fields added will be available.


In the Document Edit screen, two sections are available at the top of the document:

  • Focus on Fields: On mobile view, if you click on ‘Focus on fields', the document gets zoomed and will take you to the particular fields (Focused field).

  • Document Details: Here, users can view information like the document name, as well as the sender and signers details




What information can I add to my document using the Signeasy iOS app?

  • Select the document you’d like to work with using the import(+) option




  • Use the Signature Toolbar to add annotation fields to the document, such as Signature, Initials, Date, Text, freestyle annotation, checkboxes, and images.    



  • Each option in the toolbar will pop up a window, giving you even more control over customizing the information.


Do my documents sync across the Signeasy app on my devices?


  • All the documents in the Signeasy app will automatically sync across all your devices. Just be sure you are logged in with the same credentials on both devices.


Will the status of my documents sync across my devices?


  • We’ll take care of that as well! If you save or complete a document on the Web or Mobile app, the document will reflect accordingly as  Draft, Pending or Completed across all your devices.

  • You can download, email, or send the document to your cloud storage account from any device. You don’t need to feel tied to a single platform; Signeasy goes where you go!


What are the document types supported in the Signeasy iOS app?

Signeasy supports the following document types:

  • Adobe (.pdf)

  • MS Office (.doc, .docx, .xls, .xlsx, xlsm, .ppt, .pptx, .csv)

  • Open-Office (.odt, .ods,. odp)

  • Text (.txt)

  • Web (.html, .xml, .htm)

  • Rich Text Format (.rtf)

  • Images (.jpg, .jpeg, .bmp, .png, .tif, .tiff, .gif)


For security reasons, we convert the files into PDF files (regardless of the original format) as soon as the document is imported. When you email or download the file, it will remain in PDF format.
