Whether you're using Bulk Send or the Signeasy API, here's how to set up and use Pre-Fill fields in your templates:

Add Pre-Fill Fields to Your Template

  1. Create or Edit a Template

    • Go to your Templates section and either create a new template or edit an existing one.

  2. Add a Pre-Fill Field

    • Drag a Text field onto the document.

    • On the right side panel, toggle on the Pre-Fill option.

    • Give your field a clear label (e.g., Employee Department, Location, Manager Name, etc.).

Using Pre-Fill with Bulk Send

  1. Download the CSV

    • After selecting your template for Bulk Send, download the sample CSV file.

  2. Fill in Pre-Fill Values

    • You’ll notice new columns in the CSV—one for each Pre-Fill field you added.

    • Enter the specific values for each signer (e.g., John Doe – HR, Jane Smith – Marketing).

  3. Upload and Send

    • Upload the completed CSV.

    • Each recipient will receive a personalized version of the document with their Pre-Fill data already populated.
