Whether you're using Bulk Send or the Signeasy API, here's how to set up and use Pre-Fill fields in your templates:
Create or Edit a Template
Go to your Templates section and either create a new template or edit an existing one.
Add a Pre-Fill Field
Drag a Text field onto the document.
On the right side panel, toggle on the Pre-Fill option.
Give your field a clear label (e.g., Employee Department, Location, Manager Name, etc.).
Download the CSV
After selecting your template for Bulk Send, download the sample CSV file.
Fill in Pre-Fill Values
You’ll notice new columns in the CSV—one for each Pre-Fill field you added.
Enter the specific values for each signer (e.g., John Doe – HR, Jane Smith – Marketing).
Upload and Send
Upload the completed CSV.
Each recipient will receive a personalized version of the document with their Pre-Fill data already populated.
